Nauryz at the Kazakhstan Resort House: A Celebration of Heritage and Renewal!
On March 21, the Kazakhstan Resort House hosted its highly anticipated Nauryz celebration, marking the arrival of spring. This year’s festivities were truly grand, as we are also celebrating the resort’s milestone 50th anniversary. Major national broadcaster VGTRK was on hand to cover the vibrant atmosphere and traditions of our 50th-anniversary Nauryz event.
Starting from 10.30 a.m. and throughout the day, we offered an immersive cultural journey, introducing our guests to the flavors and rituals of Kazakhstan while creating a truly unforgettable experience for all.
Hearty, Traditional Dishes and a Feast of Local Flavors
It was a culinary journey! From the melt-in-your-mouth baursaks to the savory plov cooked over an open flame, our guests experienced the very best of Kazakh hospitality—including a spectacular whole-roasted lamb.
And the culinary journey didn’t stop there! Guests were welcomed to beautifully set round tables overflowing with traditional Eastern delicacies—from savory kurt and sweet zhent to premium Kazakh chocolate and an assortment of festive cupcakes!
Cultural and Entertainment Program
A dynamic youth dance ensemble took the stage, bringing the celebration to life with their incredible energy! Guests were invited to explore the heart of Kazakh nomadic life, stepping inside a stunningly ornate, traditional yurt. The fun didn’t stop there! Guests loved the themed photo ops, posing in stunning traditional costumes and capturing high-energy moments on our 360-degree video spinner.
One of the most captivating moments of the day was the “Tusau Keser” ceremony. Guests were honored to observe this beautiful ritual, which celebrates a child’s first steps and the path ahead. A truly special moment: the ceremonial tradition of cutting the fetters was led by a guest of honor, bringing a sense of deep respect and joy to the festivities.
The celebration reached its peak with a spectacular concert featuring everyone’s favorite hits, followed by an electrifying dance party that kept the energy high into the night.
