Yessentuki mineral water treatments
One of the most popular services provided in the Sanatorium is balneotherapy recreational treatment with the use of therapeutic mineral water. All balneo-procedures in the Sanatorium are prescribed by the attending physician after a comprehensive diagnosis.
Being a natural remedy for gastrointestinal disorders and metabolic syndrome, Yessentuki-4 and Yessentuki-17 mineral waters are used as a therapeutic drink. As in imperial times, guests of the resort take baths with mineral water. The baths calm the nervous system, as well as relieve symptoms of heart and vascular diseases. In the Kazakhstan Sanatorium, mineral water is also used for inhalation, colon cleansing and various types of irrigation.
Since the beginning of 2023, more than 2,000 guests of the Sanatorium have undergone mineral water treatment. Therapeutic baths were taken by 363 people, colon cleansing – by 61, face irrigation – by 58, gum irrigation – by 628, head irrigation – by 55, gynecological irrigation – by 49, inhalation – by 1,932.
