For the guests of Kazakhstan Resort House, Nowruz was not a mere holiday, but an opportunity to get acquainted with traditions, to take part in colorful rituals and to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of rich Kazakh culture.
A great celebration unfolded on the territory of the resort house, where the guests could try such traditional meals as jent, irimshik, qurut, tary, talqan, qazy, shuzhyk. The guests personally watched the preparation of baursaks and lamb on a spit in the open air. All actions were accompanied with steppe music motifs and virtuoso dombra playing.
The guests of the resort house were happy to take pictures in national costumes in a bright gazebo-yurt, decorated in Kazakh traditions.
The guests of the resort house enjoyed a festive musical program with the participation of the Qurmangazy “Balkhash” ensemble in the lobby and concert hall.
The holiday culminated in an entertainment and game evening with betashar and shashu rituals, karaoke, competitions and treats.
The centuries-old history of Nowruz has kept people closely united through customs and traditions. It implies the belief that the year coming with this holiday is sure to be a happy one. Nowruz is still remarkable for the atmosphere of love, kindness and joy that people feel on this day.
