“12 Chairs” is among the iconic works of domestic literature in the comedy genre. The story of two charming adventurers, the great combinator Ostap Bender and the former head of the registry office Kisa Vorobyaninov, who went in search of treasure hidden in one of the chairs of the family set, has gone through many screen adaptations.

Ice performance “Morozko” (0+)

A fairy tale from the ice wizard Ilya Averbukh. The classic plot will be enhanced by modern special effects and decorations that will create fairy-tale attributes: the Tridevyatoe Kingdom, the enchanted forest, Baba Yaga’s hut, the flight of the Firebird and even fire on ice. The main roles in “Morozko” will perform: Olympic champion Ekaterina Bobrova, world champions Maxim Shabalin, Albena Denkova and Maxim Stavisky and current sportsman, Russian champion Evgeny Semenenko.

Historical drama “Duel” to the 210th anniversary of M.Yu. Lermontov.
December 6, at 7:00 p.m.
The play “Duel” is another attempt to understand the circumstances and causes of the tragic duel… Historical sketch of events that took place in the period from 1837 to 1841: Lermontov’s meeting with fellow student Satin, his acquaintance with literary critic Belinsky, the ball in Diana’s grotto and the ill-fated evening at the Verzilinykhs’ house.

Kislovodsk
Three-day laser show in Kislovodsk
December 12, 13 and 14, evening hours.
On New Year’s Eve Kislovodsk will host the first 3D-mapping New Year’s show in Stavropol. The show will take place on a stone screen more than 100 meters long on the main pedestrian avenue of the resort – Lenin Avenue. The main goal is to create a warm New Year’s family story dedicated to the people who made the city famous. The Kislovodsk administration is involved in the preparation of the show and more than 27 million rubles from the regional budget have been allocated.

Author’s walking tour “Architecture of old Kislovodsk”
Dec. 12 and 26, at 3 p.m.
Kislovodsk is a unique place on the map of Russia. The balneological spa has been in continuous operation for almost 220 years. During this time a huge layer of cultural heritage has been formed, which is expressed by a variety of preserved monuments of architecture and urban development. Kislovodsk already in the first half of the XIX century was a respectable resort, where the highest aristocratic society came. It made increased demands not only on the sanitary condition, but also on the appearance of the resort. The appearance of Kislovodsk represents almost all architectural styles that existed in Russia in the XIX and XX centuries. During the excursion the researcher, local historian, Caucasian expert, author of several scientific and popular science books, candidate of historical sciences Vyacheslav Sergeyevich Yanovsky will show the guests of the museum authentic architectural gems in several historical districts of the resort town of Kislovodsk.
