Meeting with the Deputy Director of the Medical department
Today we’d like to introduce Sergey Gennadyevich Kechedzhiev, Deputy Director for medical affairs of the «Kazakhstan» Sanatorium, Candidate of Medical Science. He decided to be a doctor when he was young, so, he has been in the profession for 39 years.
«My parents are doctors. That’s why I did not hesitate to choose this profession. I have been working in the „Kazakhstan“ Sanatorium for 20 years.»
Please tell us about yourself and your management.
I respect our patients and my colleagues — it’s important when you are the one in charge. I do my best to make our Sanatorium convenient and comfortable for everyone. Today we are known, trusted, recommended and we really appreciate it.
What is your personal recipe for success? Tell us about it.
In my opinion, success is about daily work, achieving the set goals, family, and health. So, there is no recipe for success. It is important to be honest with yourself and others, be responsible for your work, words and actions, and then you can get the desired results.
I think that it’s a comprehensive approach to the quality of the medical services we provide and constant development. Highly qualified doctors and professionals work in our Sanatorium. We have technical equipment from the best world manufacturers and provide a high level of service for our guests’ comfort.
May I ask what new things have been implemented in the work of the institution during your management?
The Sanatorium is constantly developing: new equipment is being purchased, the list of services is increasing, the level of qualification of our staff is improving, we regularly run roundtable discussions where we share our professional expertise with our colleagues. Each year we develop medical programs to maximize the health effects of various diseases’ treatment.
In your opinion, what indicators most clearly characterize the medical institution you manage?
The most important indicator for us is grateful feedback from our patients, their recommendations about us to their relatives and friends. It is an increasing flow of guests who rely on us.
What diagnostic or treatment methods used in the Sanatorium would you call unique?
Today, the latest generation of equipment makes us proud. It allows us to help as many patients as possible in a customized way. For example, we may offer oxygen therapy in an oxygen chamber for patients with high blood sugar levels. I would also like to mention the unique engineering system of storage and delivery of therapeutic mud directly to the patient’s body, which functions in our Sanatorium.
What prospects for further development of the Sanatorium do you see?
We are focused on continuous growth and committed to providing the health-improvement services of the highest level to our patients. That’s why we are constantly updating equipment, introducing new treatment methods and improving the quality of service.
