The Kazakhstan Sanatorium introduced a new method of treatment of patients with metabolic liver disease

The city of Yessentuki is the largest balneotherapeutic health resort. For more than 200 years, people from all corners of Russia and even from abroad come here. The Kazakhstan Sanatorium offers treatment options and methods based on natural factors such as mineral waters “Yessentuki-4” (carbonic chloride-hydrocarbonate sodium mineral water of medium mineralization) and “Yessentuki-New” (carbonic chloride-hydrocarbonate-sulfate-sodium-calcium water of low mineralization).

The treatment and rehabilitation department of the Kazakhstan Sanatorium introduced a new method of rehabilitation of patients with metabolic liver disease using mineral water of different chemical composition and mineralization.

This method is drug-free and it includes:

  • treatment by drinking mineral water (“Yessentuki-4” or “Yessentuki-New”);
  • carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide bath No. 10;
  • healthy diet No. 5;
  • physical therapy.

The course of treatment involves sanatorium and resort regime and it lasts 14 days. An integrated approach to treatment helps to significantly improve the condition of patients with metabolic liver disease.
