Republic Day in Kazakhstan is celebrated on a large scale, as it is the main national holiday of the country. It is related to the events of 1990, when the Declaration of State Sovereignty was adopted. It affirms the unity and indivisibility of Kazakhstan’s territories, the flourishing of cultural traditions and languages of the different peoples inhabiting the country, and the strengthening of national identity.
This day is also marked by the adoption of state symbols: coat of arms, flag and anthem, as well as the introduction of the national currency. Many events are being organized in the country to celebrate the holiday. The Kazakhstan Sanatorium located in Yessentuki, actively participates in the celebration of this significant day, expressing its respect for the citizens of the Republic.
