The Power of Mineral Waters in Spa Treatment
Balneological procedures at the Kazakhstan Sanatorium are conducted with the following mineral waters:
- Yessentuki No. 4.
- Yessentuki No. 17.
- Yessentuki Novaya (New).
- Drilled No. 1.
Types of balneotherapy in the Sanatorium:
Drinking Treatment
All three Yessentuki springs are used for drinking treatment, which effectively treats diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, kidney and bladder diseases, as well as metabolic disorders.
Mineral Baths
Healing waters rich in salts and gases improve blood supply and metabolic processes. Biologically active ions, hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide penetrate into the general blood stream and improve nutrition of all tissues. Mineral baths soothe, relieve chronic fatigue syndrome, and alleviate cardiovascular diseases.
Mineral Water Face Irrigation
Cosmetic procedure that helps to cope with excessive skin oiliness, acne, and dermatitis. After a course of irrigations, the facial skin becomes smoother, moisturized, more elastic and younger. Carbon dioxide-sulfur hydrogen mineral water Drilled No. 1 is used in the course of the procedure.
Mineral Water Head Irrigation
The procedure that helps to cope with dandruff and hair loss, and has a beneficial effect on the nervous system.
Mineral Water Gum Irrigation
Used for treatment of periodontosis and other inflammation in the mouth.
Mineral Water Inhalation
Due to the soothing effect of mineral water, mineral water inhalations are used to treat dry cough and runny nose.
