The Sanatorium management took part in the conference «Yessentuki – Water, Resort, Health»
A conference on the positioning and use of mineral water and on the researches in the field of balneotherapy was held in Yessentuki.
The event brought together managers of sanatoriums and mud baths, representatives of federal research institutes and representatives of the Ministry of Tourism and Health Resorts of the Stavropol region.
The conference was attended by Eltay Askarov, Director of the Kazakhstan Sanatorium, and Sergey Gennadyevich Kechedzhiev, Deputy Director for medical affairs.
One of the main speakers at the event was Anatoly Fesyun, representative of the Federal State Budgetary Institution National Medical Research Center of Rehabilitation and Balneology of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation. In his presentation, he emphasized the current views and perspectives on the development of resort treatment that uses natural resources. He also spoke about the history of mineral water use from 1968 to the present day and the changes that have taken place since then.
As the organisers noted, the conference «Yessentuki — Water, Resort, Health» is designed to become a starting point for further interaction between representatives of the authorities, resort sector, science and business.
