LPG and Manual Massage
This is one of the most popular treatments in our Sanatorium. In the first half of 2023, 2072 guests underwent a course of manual massage, 710 people appreciated the benefits of underwater massage treatment, and the anticellulite massage with the Starvac device was prescribed to 27 guests. One or another type of massage complements the treatment program depending on the guest’s preferences and individual recommendations from the therapist.
Classical manual massage is prescribed for treating nervous system and musculoskeletal system problems. The procedure helps to ease symptoms of these conditions at an early stage of the disease preventing them from progressing. The massage improves blood and lymph flow. Various harmful substances are removed from the body, tissues and organs receive more oxygen and nutrition, while the skin becomes elastic and resilient.
Underwater massage treatment is a type of hydromassage. This procedure involves applying a stream of pressurized water to a person’s body immersed in a bath. The technique of underwater shower-massage is chosen based on the nature of the condition and individual characteristics of the body, as well as presence of related diseases. After the treatment, metabolism is activated, weight is normalized, the vascular walls are strengthened, there are improvements in the musculoskeletal system.
Anticellulite air massage with the French Starvac device is an LPG technic that helps to improve skin elasticity and tone, as well as eliminate muscle spasms. During the vacuum roller massage, a special vacuum nozzle is used on the patient’s skin. The beneficial effect of a course of treatment is felt due to the fact that it improves metabolism, stimulates lymph flow, triggers the fat breakdown and reduces body weight. In addition to this, roller nozzle smooths the surface of the skin, eliminates laxity, relieves muscle spasms and pain.
