“Hot” recreation within the Stavropol Territory
The region is actively developing treatment with thermal waters. Today there are six equipped hot springs within the Stavropol Territory. There are modern complexes with well-developed infrastructure for the most comfortable pastime: thermal pools with different temperature modes and hydromassage, gyms and cafes.
Three springs are located in the Kochubeevsky Municipal District. The Predgorny District and the Kursky District also dispose one spring each. And there is also another one in the village of Inozemtsevo, part of the Zheleznovodsk resort city.
Recently, the popularity of this type of health procedures has been growing – tourists from other regions come here with the intention to take “magic” baths. For example, Suvorovsky thermal springs were visited by more than 40 thousand people last year.
“Hot springs are a global trend, this type of recreation may be especially interesting in the autumn-winter period. Thermal springs relieve stress, boost your immune system, are beneficial for joints, skin, cardiovascular system, they are also useful for the prevention of coronavirus infection,” – the head of the Ministry of Tourism of the region Alexander Sysoev said.
