Yessentuki is a resort with unique cultural traditions
Yessentuki is one of the most popular health resorts in Russia. Millions of people come here for improving health and getting positive emotions. The city is also famous for its cultural traditions, among which the Crystal Spring children’s film festival is a bright star. This year, 250 people from different regions of Russia took part in it.
At the opening ceremony, the ensemble «Friendship of Peoples» performed a dance of peace, friendship and national unity.
The main theme of the festival is «Hero and Time». The children dedicated their works to literary characters, facts of history and culture, and events that reveal the heroic essence of man.
The founder and president of the festival, Honored Artist of Russia Euclid Kyurdzidis, emphasized that the festival takes place in one of the most beautiful places in Russia — on the Caucasus Mineralnye Vody, where celebrities such as Fyodor Chaliapin, Sergei Rachmaninov, Isadora Duncan and many others walked the streets.
As part of the festival, a rich program was prepared with the participation of stars of Russian cinema and show business, dance and vocal ensembles from the region.
