Caucasian Mineral Waters Events

“Beshtau Crocuses” sporting event will be held in Zheleznovodsk on March 21, 2020. The competition is organized in order to select participants for the World Mountain Running Championship.

More than one thousand athletes from different regions of Russia will participate in the running race held on Beshtau mountain. According to the organizers, the participants will run more than 10 km up on the difficult track at the highest mountain of the Caucasian Mineral Waters Region. Height difference of the mountain route ranges from 247 to 888 meters.

It is expected that athletes from Ufa, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Area, Kaliningrad, Krasnodar, Tula, Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Nizhnevartovsk, Tatarstan, Sverdlovsk Region, Kirov Region, Vladimir Region, Samara Region, Bashkortostan, Mordovia, Chukotka and North Caucasus Regions will come to Zheleznovodsk.
